Clare A203ES Analogue Hipot/Flash/Dielectric Withstand Tester Covering Voltages from 0 to 5kV AC

The A203ES hipot tester is a cost effective, simple to use, rugged test system suited to manufacturing or laboratory environments. It can deliver a test voltage of 0 to 5 kV a.c. from an internal 500VA transformer source, and has displays that show both output voltage and current flow. Over-current or flash/dielectric breakdown are indicated by a latching lamp and audible lamp, with separate fault reset button. This product comes with the trademark Clare sprung shrouded safety probes. This product is suited to conformance type test laboratories as it meets the requirements of EN 60335-1 and other international standards that require a leakage capability in excess of 100mA.

The A203 range of hipot testers is robust and simple to use. Each instrument is ideally suited to manufacturing or laboratory environments and offers high accuracy control, allowing continuous selection of voltage from 0 to 15kV AC from a 500VA transformer source. Output voltage is clearly displayed on moving analogue meters. Also available is a selection of features which includes current monitoring from variable trip settings for over-current and audio-visual indication. All A203 instruments are supplied with probes and are ideal for testing to a variety of international safety standards.
