Seaward IRT 1557 Insulation Resistance and Continuity Tester
The IRT 1557 is a small, lightweight insulation resistance and continuity Tester. Handheld, itâs a superb addition to any test engineerâs toolkit. It performs measurements according to BS 7671, 16th/17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Part P. Seawardâs unique integrated safety probe puts the LCD and test probe in the userâs line of sight whilst making measurements, no other Tester does this.
IRT 1557 is fully compliant with EN 61557 and IEC 61010–1 600v CAT lll. Automatic discharge of capactive circuits, it gives you automatic warning of the presence of hazardous voltages. It comes with an easy to use rotary setting switch. The IRT 1557 offers a number of unique features, including voltage measurements up to 1000AC or DC and a dual safety rating. With incredible robustness the IRT 1557 provides all the tests you need with a safe feel.
